The Weldwire LS series turning rolls are a centerline adjustable turning roll that is adjusted by lead screw. The turning rolls wheels are driven independently from one another with its own motor and are manually adjustable by lead screw.  With a precise diameter adjustment, this design helps to prevent end creep and or spiraling of the work piece. 

The LS series rolls can rotate work pieces with diameters ranging as small as 10” up to 16’ and load capacities from 2 to 160 metric tons. 

The rubber-tired roller uses a steel support ring in combination with the rubber to support the load.  The design protects the rubber from overloading and decreases the overall roller width.

Powering these units is an adjustable frequency, AC drive and two (2) inverter duty AC motors.
