The Weldwire size 1 and size 3 pipe turning rolls are both a light weight, portable turning roll, designed to rotate pipe for welding or flame cutting.  The pipe rolls wheels are non-adjustable and are driven by a heavy duty self-locking gearbox.  The rolls come standard with variable speed rotation, forward/reverse selector switch and an on/off footswitch.  These rolls have standard diameter settings as small as 2” up to 40” and load capacities from 1 ton to 4 ½ tons.

Powering the size 1 is an adjustable frequency DC drive and powering the size 3 is an adjustable frequency AC drive and an inverter duty AC motor.  The rolls are designed to be customized to our customer’s specifications.

The Weldwire size 3S turning rolls are light weight, portable and versatile.  This type of roll is designed to rotate small pipe and large cylinders for welding or flame cutting.  The drive wheels are driven individually by a heavy duty self-locking gearbox.  These rolls are drive shaft adjustable and can rotate work pieces as small as 2” up to 8’ and weights up to 9,000 lbs. 

Powering this unit is an adjustable frequency AC drive and an inverter duty AC motor.
