The Weldwire size 10 through size 200 heavy duty tank rollers are designed to survive the harsh loading process of the work piece being loaded into the roll.  The process of loading is the most damaging moment in a turning rolls lifetime. 
The key to this design is the heavy duty thru-wheel gearboxes which are all steel welded and precision machined.  This unique design has tapered bearings that are preloaded from inside the box housing, eliminating the need for outside locking devices which are a common problem of blown end caps and cracked housings.  The drive wheel axels are 4140 heat treated with heavy duty support pillow blocks.

The size 10 through size 200 rolls are drive shaft adjustable and can rotate work pieces as small as 6” up to 20’ ad weights ranging from 10 ton to 200 ton. 
Powering this unit is an adjustable frequency AC drive and an inverter duty AC motor. 

The rolls are designed to be customized to our customer’s specifications.

The Weldwire size 5 turning rolls are a heavy duty tank roller.  This type of roll is designed to rotate pipe and tanks for welding.  The drive wheels are driven by a heavy duty self-locking gearbox.  The rolls are drive shaft adjustable and can rotate work pieces as small as 6” up to 13’ and weights up to 7 ½ tons. 

Power is an adjustable frequency AC drive and an inverter duty AC motor. 

The rolls are designed to be customized to our customer’s specifications.
