The Weldwire RU series turning rolls are a light weight, portable turning roll.  The roll is designed with two separate drive shafts in a common frame.  The four wheels are adjustable along the drive axles for different lengths of pipe or tanks by means of taper-lock bushings.  Additional wheels can be added to the axles for short work pieces, thin wall tanks and for aligning pipe.  The RU series rolls are available with short or longer frames to accommodate tanks and pipe of varying dimensions. 

Standard diameter settings range as small as 2” up to 8’ and load capacities from 3 ton to 30 tons.

Powering this unit is an adjustable frequency AC drive and an inverter duty AC motor.
