Weldwire Welding Head Manipulators

The manipulator, also referred to as a column and boom, is a high speed automatic welding system. It is the most versatile piece of equipment for heavy duty or ultra precision welding. The manipulator consists of a base unit and a vertical column which allows 359 rotation around the vertical axis. A saddle moves up and down the vertical column and carries a motorized boom that moves in and out along the horizontal. The manipulator is designed to carry out welding functions on distance and weight scales that man alone cannot perform.
